Kids and Youth Dance Programs
EuroRhythm Dance Studio is proud to announce the creation of a kids & youth program. For years we have been one of the top providers of ballroom dance instruction for adults and young people in the greater phoenix area.
Now, recognizing the growing popularity of ballroom among young people and the great social and intellectual benefits it can offer those who participate in it, we are excited to offer group and private instruction tailored to children and young adults. Our goal is to expose young people of all ages and backgrounds to this enriching activity.
Ballroom dance challenges young people to learn a new skill and expand their understanding or music and world cultures.
2012 Summer Dance Camp
Level: Beginner and Intermediate
Ages: 7 & Up
Class Frequency: Monday—Friday
Class Times: 9:00am—11:30am
Session I: June 11, 2012—June 15, 2012
Our new and exciting summer dance camp will expose youth to a variety of fun dance styles! Each day, our dance camp will begin with a thirty minute warm-up to enhance flexibility and coordination. Campers will then learn forty-five minutes of Ballroom, thirty minutes of Hip-Hop, then conclude with forty-five minutes of Latin. Campers can sign up for one or both sessions.

Many youth sports nurture only the physical needs of young people, while other programs address only the academic. However, Ballroom dance instruction provides, exercise, intellectual stimulation and teaches important social skills.

Dancesport, or competitive ballroom dancing, is as physically demanding as soccer, swimming, or running. It teaches coordination, increases stamina and promotes a healthy body image. While some traditional dance instruction requires that students fit a particular body type, ballroom dancers come in all shapes and sizes. Our classes create healthy bodies and encourage a healthy lifestyle.

Ballroom dance is also intellectually demanding. With 4 styles encompassing 19 dances, mastery can take a lifetime. Each dance has a complex list of required step and each step has 75 years technique behind it. We require students to study the material provided to prepare for their classes.
